JELLY ROLL "ICONIC"

JELLY ROLL — Nashville, TN, 2023. © Spidey Smith

“Jelly stopped by the studio to sing a hook for Yelawolf. Once he got in the mic booth, he lit a joint to catch a vibe, then passed it my way. Maybe that’s why I kept leaning closer and closer with every frame as he sang. I caught Jelly at just the right moment as he leaned back and the light from above hit his face perfectly. His expression, how close I was, and the timing of it all give it that iconic feel to me.”
